Profile

So, this is gonna take a while and I'll probably have to edit this profile a thousand times but let's just get started and see what happens.

I am a 26 years old young woman, currently living in Milan.
I was born in one small town in Italy called Rimini, better known for its tourism and its narrow minded population.
I came to Milan for University (i have a degree in Public Relations and Advertising that I hate) then went back in Rimini for a while and then decided to run away once again becasue seriously... there's no way i could build a successful life there.
So here I am, in Milan again, struggling to find a place in the fashion industry as a stylist, working my ass off, no pay and many uncertainties. See "things I love" section to understand what keeps me strong and motivated.

I love First of all my family, which consists of my father (the kindest man alive, he's my rock and my friend and my heart) and a few more people like a bunch of crazy cousins and aunts and uncles. My 16 years old cousin is the little brother I never had, and I'm the big sister he never had. I love him so much it hurts, he's one of the most intelligent and strong and sweet people I know.
I love my friends, two of them are from Rimini, I grew up with them, they're like sisters to me, and no matter what or where, we'll always be there for each other. I'm proud of them and of us every time I think about the kids we were 15 years ago, and the women we are now. We went through so much together, and the bond we have is even hard to explain when I think about it.
And then comes another huge part of what I love in life.
My Lucky Motherfuckers. It's with them that I learnt what it means to share. A life, emotions, experiences. We've only been together for less than two years now, but they changed my life in so many ways I couldn't even start to tell. I love them because with them I found a place to be myself, to learn new things. They set me free in so many ways and I'll never thank them enough.
Music, I couldn't live without music. I grew up listening to pretty much every genre, and music has always been a huge part of my life. I quitted playing piano too many years ago to tell now that I can play it, so today I'm an addicted concert-goer, listening to lots of bands and loving a few of them in a way that to most of the people could seem crazy.

(On a side note, I'd like to point out that the first 3 tattoos I had perfectly sum up what I wrote until now. The first one is the chinese initials to my parent's names, the second one a elvish word that means friendship and the third one a red music note)

WRITERS AND BOOKS Alessandro Baricco, Oscar Wilde, Ayn Rand, The Vampire Chronicles by Ann Rice, Niccolò Ammaniti.

MOVIES I must admit I'm not much a movie person, most of them make me bored but there's still a few I loved like: American History X, One Hour Photo, City of Angels, Requiem for a Drem, Shrek I.

OTHER STUFF I am a symbology freak, I even thought about going back to university to study semiology. I am in the process of reading Jung books, cos that's also something that I feel I need to learn.
I love photography, Richard Avedon will always be the master I adore. I own myself a Canon 450D which I'm learning to use (she's called Grace, don't ask XD)
